Was looking for a place on our way into the city that we could just jump off the expressway and then back on. We thought this was restaurant casual, but they had us sit down and ordered from wait staff and it took a while to be able to place our order. I will say that we were pleasantly surprised with our food. The tacos were filled well and were delicious. I also ordered the large quesadilla (or whatever its called) and they were not wrong as it was pretty large where I couldn't finish it after eating my tacos. Not sure when we will be in the area again, but wouldn't hesitate to stop here again.

I always get the taco lunch special. Always fresh and flavorful. Great price!

Major Shout out to our server Razia as she was truly setting the bar for excellence with regard to customer service and our overall dining experience, She brought out a basket of chips and salsas. I ordered the three taco steak dinner with everything lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cilantro, avocado, sour cream that comes with rice and beans As well as a large glass of Horchata. My wife ordered the enchilada Verde, which also comes with rice and beans and a sprite. Verde avocado is truly setting the bar for excellence when it comes to Mexican cuisine was extremely pleased with the overall experience will definitely come back again in the future so if your neighbor in the neighborhood and want a quick bite to eat with a full service sitdown experience, I highly recommend this restaurant. from top to bottom, the experience is a pleasant one. I feel that every meticulous detail was taken care of from the front seating dining room area to the quality of the food and the ingredients tasting fresh, even down to the very tidiness of the bathroom the overall smell of the environment was aromatic the food tastes even better than smells very clean and tidy.

Some of the best Mexican food I've had in the area in a long time. I got the caldo de res and steak fajitas. Both were really good. They use good quality meat.

Food was full of flavor and delicious. We picked up for take out bc we were in the area running errands. Food service was fast. Wish we lived closer. They have a cute patio area too

As we continued our hunt for solid Mexican food near us I read a recommendation on the skokie food Facebook group of Verde Avocado. We went for lunch today and thank the lord it was great.

Favorite Mexican spot in the North suburbs. My husband is vegetarian and it’s his favorite veggie burrito and chilaquiles of all time. I have tried the carnitas, burritos, tacos, quesabirria, and huevos rancheros and they were all phenomenal. Takeout or eating in, it always hits the spot. We are so grateful for Verde Avocado and will continue coming back! Highly recommend!
